About
MY BACKGROUND
I am a recent Ball State University graduate with a BS in organizational communications and public relations. Although I had a difficult time selecting my course of studies, I decided on these based off my interests and love for human interactions. Throughout my time at Ball State I furthered my career interests by joining the debate team, communication club and PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America). My desire to work with people has also been reinforced through my passion for volunteering, as I volunteered to be a CLASS (Cardinal Leadership and Service Seminar) mentor during the summer of 2017 to assist freshman moving to school and help them become more comfortable on campus prior to classes starting. Aside from interests in human interaction, I want to go into the PR field because of my interests in graphic design. It is another area I am proficient in that I would love to incorporate in my work along with writing and communicating effectively with clients.

2018 Summer PR Internship - HWC Engineering​
During this internship I worked with key community leaders to develop comprehensive PR plans. I also launched three re-branded Facebook business pages and utilized Facebook advertising to reach target publics. Additionally, assisted community partners with branding, social media strategy and fundraising.
2017 Summer Communications Internship - Phi Kappa Psi National Headquarters
Prepared and conducted interviews with several alumni and wrote articles that were later published in the quarterly alumni newsletter. I also managed all social media accounts during the weekend long Woodrow Wilson Leadership School and facilitated merchandise promotions
Work Experience
Head Leasing Agent (2016 - present) - Affinity Properties LLC
Main leasing agent, responsible for showing all 45 properties owned by the company. Also set up all house showings between potential and current tenants. Additionally picked up and reviewed all signed documents from tenants throughout the year.

This is a design I made for the Mayor of Anderson during my PR internship at HWC Engineering. He used this as his cover photo on his business Facebook page.
I made this for a journalism class project. We had to create an ad for a kind of product our company could sell and explain all the components. My contribution was the creation of the actual ad.
I made this on InDesign for Josh Uitts who is the Clinton County Commissioner during my internship with HWC Engineering. It has been used as his cover photo on his Facebook page.
